GLOBAL WARMING

Global warming refers to the gradual increase in the Earth's average temperature, both in the atmosphere and oceans. This phenomenon is primarily caused by the increase in greenhouse gases (GHGs) in the atmosphere, resulting from human activities.

Examples

* rising sea levels.
* the rise in global temperatures.
* the melting of glaciers and ice caps.
* more frequent and intense extreme weather events, such as heat waves, droughts, and floods.

Reflection

Global warming is a challenge that demands an urgent global response. We cannot ignore the scientific evidence or the consequences we are already experiencing. A profound change in our development models is necessary, prioritizing sustainability and social justice. The transition to a low-carbon economy, protecting ecosystems, and adapting to inevitable changes are crucial steps to ensuring a livable future for present and future generations.

  2. The topic is interesting, but I would like to know how to contribute to better managing the environment and not affecting our ecosystem, as well as reducing global warming.

  3. The article provides limited information and lacks depth, and it seems the teacher’s guidance was not requested. Well done on the part where you included a reflection. Try to improve these aspects for your next article to make it even better.
