History of the F1 World Championship: when it was founded.

The beginning of Formula 1 dates back to 1950, when the International Automobile Federation (FIA) announced the union of several national Grands Prix - based in Paris (France) - to create a World Championship for Drivers.

Ferrari, Alfa Romeo, and Maserati were the teams that coexisted at that time, and the first Grand Prix took place on May 13 of that year at the Silverstone circuit. The Italian Giuseppe Farina was the first winner and also achieved the first F1 World Championship.

History of the F1 World Championship: origins

The Grand Prix events have their origins in the motor races that emerged in France in 1894. At that time, they were individual events, unconnected and on dirt roads, practically without any rules.

From 1927 to 1934, the number of events grew to reach eighteen in that last year, the maximum before World War II, which halted growth.

Read more Right after the war, there were only four races, but a series of rules for Grand Prix competitions had already been established, which had to be followed by both cars and drivers. They were called Formula, although they were not finalized until 1947 when the former AIACR was reorganized and renamed the FIA.

  5. I see you used AI for this work, but there is a lot of unfamiliar vocabulary. While you included a lot of information, the ideas need to be better connected to make the text flow smoothly. No help was requested from the teacher, and adding a video could make your blog more engaging.
